At the Department of Energy, Energy Information Administration (EIA) the Brite Group works with the agency to help integrate data from multiple energy surveys such as coal, petroleum, electricity and renewable energy sources leveraging an industry-recognized Data Management and Data Integration solution. The survey data is ingested in structured and unstructured formats and undergoes validation and standardization to support data analysis efforts. EIA relies on the survey results to perform analysis and produce statistics around current and historical energy consumption as well as energy outlook for the nation. Informatica products are used for Data Integration, Data Quality and Metadata management solutions for several programs and The Brite Group leverages these products to solve EIA’s data management challenges.
